Guest Information

Arrival & Departure

• Check-in will anytime after 4 p.m. Please notify innkeepers if arriving after 6:00 PM. Upon arrival you may need to call the innkeeper for check in services.
• Check-out is at 10:30 a.m. A late departure can be arranged ahead of time, subject to availability.
• Breakfast is served no earlier than 7:30 and no later than 9:00 a.m. Your breakfast time is arranged upon check in.
• Breakfast reservations are made at time of check in.

Reservations

• Room reservations will be secured with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
• Advanced reservations are suggested during peek season.
• The Heritage House has a limited amount of rooms. We do not overbook or take a waiting list. Please know your schedule well in advance of booking.

Cancellation

• Please understand that we do not over book or take a wait list for any of our rooms.
• Due to the limited amount of rooms available, we require a $60.00 cancellation fee for any room reservations that are not canceled 10 days prior to scheduled arrival dates. If you need to cancel your reservation and do not wish to be charged $60.00 we need a written statement from you 10 days before your check in day. Example: Your room is reserved for a Saturday check in... we need a written email from you sent to ckernst@hotmail.com on or before 5:00 a.m. the prior Wednesday or you will be charged this $60.00 fee.
• Note: If you should need to cancel and we do not receive your written cancellation request at ckernst@hotmail.com 10 days prior to your arrival as explained above, then your cancellation charge will be the full amount of your stay. This will be charged on your Visa, Master Card and/or Discover Card at the time of cancellation and/or a no show check in. Example: Your room is reserved for a Saturday check in and we receive your written request to cancel on Tuesday 8:00 a.m. 4 days before your arrival day, since you have not requested to cancel before the 10 day policy (above) you will not be charged the $60.00 cancellation fee. Instead you will be charged the full amount of your stay.

Early check in:

• If you wish to check in early you will be charged a fee of $10.00 per hour when checking in early. Example check in is at 4:00 p.m. if you arrive and want to check in at 2:00 p.m. you will be charged $20.00 when you check in early. Early check in is based on availablity and arrangements must be made at the time of the reservation.

Late check out:

• If you wish to check out late you will be charged an extra $10.00 per hour fee when checking our late. Example check out is at 11:00 a.m. you want to check out at 1:00 p.m. you will be charged $20.00 for the 2 hour late check out. All late check outs need to be requested on or before you check in. If for any reason you don't get checked out by 11:00 a.m. a $10.00 late check out fee per hour will be charged to your Visa, Master Card and/or Discover upon departure.

Restrictions

• Smoking: The Heritage House is a nonsmoking property, including but not limited to all guest rooms, public areas and dining rooms. Smoking is permitted outside the Inn.
• Handicapped: We do apologize to the physically challenged, but due to the age of our facility, we are not handicapped accessible at this time.
• Pets: The Heritage House is unable to accommodate pets of any size or kind.

Additional Policies/Information

• The Heritage House was built in 1880 there was never an elevator installed in the building so please note there is a full staircase plus a landing with a few steps to reach the upper level suites. Also the Ernst lodge has it's own outside entrance however that privacy comes along with it's own set of stairs.
• If you have any disabilities and require any special needs or requests to include food allergies, please bring them to our attention before making any reservations so we can make your stay as pleasant as possible.
• At the time of making your reservations you are agreeing to the Heritage House policies. Also you are aware that our home does not have an elevator or lift to any of our rooms.
